Coaches

Coach Henry Kon is also the president of our organization. He wrestled at Oswego High School in New York under Hall of Fame Coach Elmer Akley. He also wrestled at Cayuga College in Auburn, New York. This will be Henry’s 11th year coaching with WCWC.

Coach Heath Elder is also Vice-President of our organization. He wrestled in Tucson, AZ at Sabino High School for four years, and he was a volunteer assistant at a high school for three years. This will be his 5th year coaching with WCWC.

Coach Steve Bryant was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA, which meant wrestling was a must. He started wrestling in 3rd grade and wrestled through high school. In middle school, he was a 3x regional champion and finished those three years undefeated. While in high school, he was a 2x qualifier in the Iowa State tournament. His coaching career began when his son was in kindergarten and started wrestling. He coached in his wrestling club and middle school for 10 years. In 2016, his wife and three kids to Spring Hill, TN. With his kids grown and out of the house, he still had a desire to coach. He found Williamson County Wrestling Club in 2018 and resumed coaching.
